Stacey & Bradly's gorgeous bridal portraits with horses at sunset xx

After capturing Stacey & Bradly’s wedding recently, I was very excited to catch up with them and their two horses at their beautiful Two Wells property. It’s easy to see how horses get a representation for being such magnificent and beautiful animals. Blaze and Izzie both fit this magnificent and beautiful description, but on top of that, they had the biggest personalities too!

Huai & Coral's Pre-Wedding Portraits around Adelaide

On Friday we had a beautifully sunny day! I was lucky enough to spend the sunshine filled afternoon with Huai & Coral, capturing some gorgeous pre-wedding portraits all across Adelaide, from the CBD to the beach. Huai & Coral are such a sweet couple, which made the portrait session an absolute dream. After Tallora from Mobile Makeovers Australia worked her magic, we started in the Adelaide Himeji Gardens. Moving through the city from North Terrace to the River Torrens and North Adelaide. Talking a leisurely walk on Henley Beach at sunset, and finishing up back in the city near Victoria Square for some city night portraits by the fountain.

Peter & Kirsty's Port Willunga Beach Engagement Portraits

If it weren't for the coolness in the air, you wouldn't have believed that it was Winter on Sunday. The sun shone brightly with hints that Spring is definitely making its way to us. I had a great time catching up with Peter & Kirsty to plan out some finer details of what will be an epic wedding early next year! Then we headed down to one of my favourite beaches to capture some sunny engagement photos. These guys are awesome, they climbed muddy hills, traversed rocky cliffs and got chilly wet feet with me. All while the waves crashed in a large swell off the white sandy beach.

Emily & Sam's Kuitpo Engagement Session

On Saturday I caught up with the sweetest couple, Emily and Sam at the ever beautiful Kuitpo Forest Reserve. As we come to the end of the last month of Winter we’ve been blessed with warm, Spring like days that remind me of Summer. Saturday was one of those gorgeously warm and light filled Winter days. The sun beautifully dipped in and out of soft cloud cover as we went for a little walk through its warmth in the forest. In true Australian style, joined by a group of curious roos.

Edward's Newborn Family Session

Last year I photographed the absolutely heart touching garden wedding of Maree and Hugh at Stangate House in Aldgate. And recently I was excited to receive a phone call that they had welcomed a gorgeous new baby boy into the world! I met Maree, Hugh and little Edward at their beautiful home for some photos by the warm wood fire and in the light filled nursery. Before we headed out with their lovely, old golden retriever Cleo.

A Beautiful Family Photography Session in Balaklava

It's no secret that I think South Australia is absolutely gorgeous, and it's also no secret that I'm happy to drive as far as it takes to find the perfect location. Driving to this special location I actually bogged my car! (Gotta remember it's little, doh!) But was it worth it? I think so. Just outside of Balaklava (if you can dodge the floods and pot holes) is the Rocks Reserve. It's a darling little spot with a real Aussie feel. A gently running creek, rolling hills, cattle, wattle trees and big beautiful gum trees.

Gretchen's Natural Newborn Portraits

After capturing their maternity portraits, and making plans to capture their wedding day memories, I had the absolute pleasure to capture the newborn portraits for Matt & Anne's gorgeous little girl Gretchen Betty (named after her 2 great grandmothers). At just 6 days new I met Gretchen and her beautiful family out at Spalding, to capture some natural photos of the little cutie. She was just the sweetest little thing, surrounded by so many proud and completely smitten loved ones. xx

Callum, Eryn & Aylish's Gorgeous Winter Family Session

Winter is well and truly here, with frequent rainy days, icy temperatures and even a few gusts of wind strong enough to bring down trees! (Which legitimately happened in my neighbours yard mere moments before I left for this shoot.) It’s the season to rug up, sip warm mugs off coffee or tea, and cuddle under giant fluffy blankets. Despite the cooler temperatures, occasional showers and windy days it is still a gorgeous time to get photos done. The same gusts of wind that knocked down my neighbours tree cleared the skies of their overcast mask. Revealing beautiful sunshine for our entire session. A Winter sunshine that glows so softly but beautifully.
