Rychelle & Brittain's Garden Wedding

Sunday was a perfect day in oh so many ways. Starting with clear blue, sunny skies, beautifully temperate weather and the most gentle of breezes. I arrived at Stockade botanical park just as family and decorators had arrived to set up the wedding marquee and rotunda. There was a beautifully calm buzz of excitement as Rychelle and Brittain (AKA Michael) arrived together for their pre-ceremony portraits.

We decided to head down to an old quarry just 10 minutes walk away, and worth every second of time it took to walk there. It's amazing how something so rugged can lend itself so well to such beautiful portraits. With gorgeous trees along route, a bridge to nowhere and stunning cutaway gorge. Rychelle and Brittain are two of the most fun and down to earth people you could meet, and the joy of the day was so evident on their faces. The little tributes to all the things they love in life, surrounded by just those nearest and dearest to them, along with the perfect weather and setting. It all came together to make a super special day.

Congratulations guys, I so enjoyed capturing these memories for you! xx
