The early newborn phase is so fleeting (and if we’re honest, a little chaotic as everything changes in the most beautiful of ways!) There is so much joy and excitement to capture, and a whole new little person to meet and document. What a marvellous stage in life!

Read MoreMelissa and Daniel went on an adventure to celebrate their 5 year wedding anniversary, with their awesome little dachshund Peggy. As part of their celebrations they had Em capture some natural and relaxed portraits at one of my favourite beaches, Maslin Beach. A lovely walk through an old quarry that leads to the dog friendly part of the beach and some gorgeous scenes. A special place to hang out and enjoy the company of loved ones without the hustle and bustle of the more popular local beaches. Enjoy the rest of your adventures guys!! x

We often document our early days as a family, when the children are little and we’re just finding out feet. But celebrating a history of memories as we grow into adults ourselves is so special as well. (Each time we do a session like this, I just want to grab my own family and do the same!) Read MoreWhen Rosa, Paul & I started this little hike - we weren’t planning to do the full thing. I thought I’d take them through the beautiful scrub, past the echidnas home to the look out. And then, depending on how we felt - down to the gorge to see the river, but with every intention of heading back up the way we had come. Thing is, a session with me is never just a photography session. If there is even the slightest chance that we might be able to have an adventure as well, I won’t help but be able to encourage it.
