I love it when I get to continue my journey with my beautiful clients as they welcome new family members and love into their lives. This session was made even more special as their session took place close to their first wedding anniversary, with their beautiful little boy Frank who was present in Maggie's belly at their wedding.
Read MoreAfter moving to Maslin Beach, I did as I always do and set out to explore the area. What I didn't expect to find, literally almost on my doorstep, was a unique and beautiful location I would be dying to use for a photography session. With a very Aussie reserve, rolling red, eroded hills, and just a short walk through this, a secret entrance to a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach.
Read MoreThis was a family session that melted my heart a little bit, it was so special. Kelly and Erin initially booked me to photograph their wedding a few years ago, but when it looked like Australia wouldn't be getting their act together on same sex marriage for a long while they decided to postpone the celebrations. But not to postpone living their life, a happy couple together with a happy future, ready to start at family. And what a gorgeous family!! I just wanted to give Archie the biggest, squishiest cuddles she is so adorable!
Read MoreJust days before their wedding, I met Laura and David at a cold and windy Summer Glenelg beach for their engagement portrait session. I could barely believe it when they said they'd never had professional photos before, because they were both complete naturals in front of the camera! Picking up on the smallest of suggestions with complete ease. (I think you guys should be models, hehe). What else can I say that the photos don't already tell? I can't wait to share their beautiful wedding day directly following this post. ^_^
Read MoreKuitpo forrest (at least for me) feels like an under utilised location for portraits. It's such a gorgeous spot, and very unique too. (It's a forrest in South Australia, come on! 😍) The light shines strongly through the tall trees creating puddles of light amongst the shadows. And in our South Australian forrest, you can also find beautiful tall pockets of kangaroo grass glistening in the sun. On this particular evening meeting Hannah and Simon for their engagement portraits, we were also blessed by the hundreds of butterflies investigating native flowers. Hannah and Simon are so gorgeous inside and out, and such a lovely couple to frolic through the forest with for their engagement portraits. I can't wait for your wedding guys! xx
Read MoreAfter photographing Justin & Iwonka's wedding a bit over a year ago, I felt I had met two genuinely lovely and authentic people. So when they announced that a little one was on the way, I was very excited! Beautiful inside and out, it's no wonder their baby girl Delilah is so gorgeous. It's so special for me to be able to continue documenting the significant moments in a couples life after their wedding. And even better when we can form real friendships.
Read MoreAmber & Dan's engagement portraits session at the beach on Tuesday at sunset was so much fun! The session started with hugs, was full of smiles and ended with very wet pants for Dan. The water was finally not freezing! And with waves lapping the sand and splashing Amber and especially Dan, it was a fun and laughter filled session.
Read MoreI love to capture family portraits for Minnie and her family, and see little JJ grow! For this session I met Minnie and her family at the Wittunga Botanic Gardens, a little gem hidden in Blackwood. From bubbles to balloons, ducks, bike rides, games of soccer, cricket and more. It was an afternoon full of fun and laughter! Thanks for having me to capture these memories for you again Minnie! xx
Read MoreMegan, Jonathan, their gorgeous greyhound Barnsey and I nearly didn’t go ahead with our engagement session plans on Sunday. With a 95% chance of rain, and maybe a thunderstorm, there was a little hesitation as to whether we should brave the elements and potential muddy puddles. But I’m so so glad we did! Despite the ridiculously high chance of rain, I don’t think a single drop touched our heads. Instead, we were blessed with diffused, warm sunshine that glistened off the dewy leaves and pine tree bristles of Kuitpo Forest.
