Anne & Matthew's Maternity Portraits Session in Gorgeous Spalding

Last week Anne & Matthew invited me to an amazing part of the world to capture some beautiful maternity portraits. It was a journey full of many sheep and cute lambs, long stretches of ancient, rugged land, old ruins, giant whooshing wind towers and many ooooows and ahhhhhhhs. (mostly from me, haha!) It really is such a stunning part of the world, and proudly right in Anne & Matthew’s backyard. Matthews took so much joy in sharing the land with me, telling me about the history and pointing out gorgeous landmarks. He and his dad have been working this part of the land for a very long time. Anne was just as excited to show me this hidden spot of theirs, including a nice old ruin with amazing rock walls, where they’d had some engagement portraits taken by their cousin.

Anne & Matthew are the most beautiful, welcoming and sharing couple, it was a joy to capture these memories in such a beautiful place. They’re so proud of their home, and I can understand why they bring all their visitors to see the giant wind towers. It really is something to stand at the base of one, like a mini metal light house with huge long arms whooshing loudly above your head, creating strong gusts of wind. Awesome.

I can’t wait to capture more memories for you both super soon, all the best with you beautiful new bub. You’ll both make gorgeous parents. xx
